Hi! Welcome to my first blog post and my virtual home here on the internet. Let me introduce myself. My name is Fran and here are 10 fun facts to get to know me.

1. I am an environmental engineer by trade and work as a safety & environmental manager in the healthcare industry.
2. Before choosing to study engineering, I wanted to be a broadcast journalist and work for the Travel Channel.
3. My parents are Jamaican immigrants so I began my travel adventures as a baby going back and forth from the US to Jamaica.
4. I attended a wonderful prep school in Connecticut which fueled my love of learning and travel.
5. My grandfather is Indian but I HATE Indian food.
6. I am the oldest of 3 siblings and I am the only girl (yes, I am spoiled).
7. I am a personal finance GEEK and always have been.
8. Autumn is my favorite season and I love apple everything.
9. I stay up late scanning the interwebs for awesome deals.
10. I drive a minivan and I LOVE it!
